Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to enquiries, quotations and services provided by AFICIONADO LTD unless different written terms are expressly agreed for a specific piece of work.

1. Services

AFICIONADO LTD provides remote-first technical and digital support services, including troubleshooting, website assistance, email and domain support, account administration, cloud tool support, routine security-related setup and associated IT service activities. The precise scope of each engagement depends on the individual request and any written quotation or confirmation issued for that work.

2. Remote-first delivery

Unless otherwise agreed, services are delivered remotely. AFICIONADO LTD may decline, postpone or separately quote work that requires site attendance, specialist access, unsupported environments or broader third-party cooperation.

3. On-site attendance

On-site attendance is available only by arrangement. Travel and attendance charges are additional to the service itself and are confirmed in advance wherever practical. A starting travel charge from £35 may apply, with different rates quoted depending on distance, access restrictions, timing windows or work outside the normal remote route.

4. Quotes and acceptance

Quotes are based on the information available at the time of review. If the scope changes, further issues are discovered, access is unavailable or relevant information was omitted from the original enquiry, AFICIONADO LTD may revise the quote or propose a new one. Work is treated as accepted when the client confirms in writing, instructs commencement or otherwise authorises the service to proceed.

5. Client responsibilities

  • provide accurate and complete information about the issue or project;
  • ensure lawful authority to request work relating to accounts, devices, domains, websites or business systems;
  • provide timely access, credentials, approvals and decision-making where required;
  • maintain suitable backups unless backup handling is expressly included in scope;
  • review and approve materials, changes or decisions when requested.

6. Timing and availability

Any response times, estimates or scheduling windows are indicative unless expressly confirmed in writing. AFICIONADO LTD will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed timing but is not responsible for delay caused by incomplete client information, third-party services, access restrictions, hosting providers, domain suppliers, internet outages or events outside reasonable control.

7. Fees and payment

Fees may be quoted on a one-off, staged, monthly, hourly or project basis depending on the work involved. Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable by the due date shown on the invoice. AFICIONADO LTD may pause or withhold ongoing work where payment is overdue. Deposits, advance payments or milestone payments may be required for certain work.

8. Third-party products and services

Where services involve third-party platforms, domains, software, hosting, email providers or cloud tools, AFICIONADO LTD is not responsible for their separate terms, pricing, operational changes or service levels. Third-party fees are separate unless expressly stated otherwise.

9. Data and backups

Clients remain responsible for maintaining suitable backups and for verifying that data, content, accounts and settings are appropriate to work on. While reasonable care is taken, AFICIONADO LTD is not responsible for losses caused by pre-existing faults, missing backups, hidden issues, third-party restrictions or client-authorised changes unless liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Acceptable use and lawful instructions

AFICIONADO LTD will not knowingly carry out unlawful, deceptive, abusive or unauthorised work. The company may refuse any enquiry that appears unlawful, unsafe, misleading, technically unsuitable or materially outside the normal service scope.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AFICIONADO LTD’s aggregate liability in connection with a service engagement is limited to the amount paid by the client for the relevant service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Cancellation and rescheduling

If booked work is cancelled or rescheduled at short notice, AFICIONADO LTD may retain or charge reasonable time, travel or administrative costs already committed. This is particularly relevant for reserved on-site visits or scheduled work that blocks time in the diary.

13. Intellectual property and materials

Unless otherwise agreed, intellectual property rights in AFICIONADO LTD’s working methods, templates, processes, internal materials and know-how remain with AFICIONADO LTD. Client-owned materials remain the property of the client or their licensors.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms or related services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
